After completing her formal education and acting training, Chlumsky returned to acting. She appeared in an episode of 30 Rock titled “The Fighting Irish” as Liz Lemler. She also had guest roles on Law & Order—appearing as Mary Calvin in season 17 and as Lisa Klein in season 20—and in the ABC series Cupid, where she appeared in four episodes.
