Annie Potts is an American actress who was born on October 28, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee to Powell Grisette Potts and Dorothy Harris Potts. She has two sisters named Mary Eleanor Potts Hovious and Elizabeth Gressette "Dollie" Potts who she grew up in Franklin, Kentucky with. Potts graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School in 1970 and went on to achieve a bachelor in fine arts from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.
She began her acting career in 1977 and was immediately nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role in the 1978 film "Corvette Summer". She went on to appear in 1984's "Ghostbusters", and both "Pretty in Pink" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash in 1986 just to name a few. Potts also does voice acting and most notably voiced the character Bo Peep in the Disney Pixar animated Film "Toy Story" in 1995. She also voiced the character in the subsequent sequels, "Toy Story 2" in 1999, and is set to return for 2019's "Toy Story 4".
