He briefly attended Bell High school afterwards he dropped out.

He's of a mixed ethnicity consisting of Mexican and Cuban roots although he's an American.

Personal life

Little or less about his personal life is currently disclosed, although he's not yet married and has no children, he has been romantically linked to actresses but he hasn't officially dated someone yet. He's a frequent user of social media platforms.

Career

After dropping out of high school, he became friends with Mellow Man Ace and Sen Dog, of which they later formed a group named Cypress Hill.

The got a recording contract with Columbia Records in 1991 and that same year they made their debut album, which gained popularity.

DJ muggs produced most of the songs in their albums as the album went platinum, this made them the first Latin group duo to have multi platinum album sales and they still remain the best selling Latin group till date.

In 1996 he was among the contributors in the making of the soundtrack for the movie Space Jam. He formed a group titled Kush, it was a rap metal group, the group consisted of Fear Factory members Raymond Herrera and Christian Olde Wolbers, also in the group was Stephen Carpenter a guitarist.

Aside from being a rapper he also a producer and has produced for top musicians. He produced for the WWE and Proof a D12 member. He kept a low profile as a producer when he was a group member in Cypress Hill, so as not to interfere with his then producer DJ Muggz.

Apart from being a producer he has a group of music producers called the Audio Hustlaz.

Through out his career he has cast in many movies like shade, The Rugrats Movie, Thicker Than Water.
