Broadcasting Career

Pedigo began her broadcasting career in earnest in 2007 when she replaced Jamie Little in covering NASCAR events. Prior to this, she served as a pit reporter for the United States Auto Club (USAC), covering sprint and midget car races. She also contributed to college sports coverage, including the NCAA Final Four.

Her broadcasting work was well received, and she remained active in motorsports journalism until 2009, the year her first child was born. Though her pit reporting is what brought her the most recognition, Pedigo's earlier years were also shaped by a flourishing background in dance.

Early Life and Dance Background

Brienne Pedigo was raised in Indiana and comes from a business-oriented family. Her father owned Pedigo Chevrolet and held a joint ownership stake in an IndyCar Series team. From an early age, Pedigo exhibited a strong passion for ballet. She began formal ballet training at the age of 12 and reportedly practiced up to 40 hours per week.

Her dedication to dance led to several notable opportunities. She played the role of Rosie in a production of "The Nutcracker" and appeared with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, where she received training in acting and choreography. Pedigo was later selected by Richard Pierron to assemble a team to represent the United States in a dance competition. Her team won the competition in consecutive years, and she was honored as Junior Dancer of the Year.

Pedigo pursued higher education at New York University (NYU), after which she launched a production company that specializes in off-Broadway shows. Among her company's achievements is staging Wendy MacLeod’s play "The House of Yes."
