The family lives in New Orleans, in a beautiful and remodeled one hundred year old house. The family moved to New Orleans just six months after Hurricane Katrina and bought the home because “We felt like this was doing our part in the community, buying an older home, renovating it, and making it better.”The couple also invested in the community in other ways; they raised funds for years a first-of-its-kind playground in the city that can be accessed by kids of all abilities. But the couple was unsure of their future when they first moved to New Orleans. Drew said, "At the time, I felt like this is the worst thing that could ever happen to me at the worst time” but being part of the iconic city’s rebuilding effort soon changed their minds. "A year later, I thought, 'God that was probably the best thing that happened to me,' because otherwise I never would have had the opportunity to come here and be a part of this community and this rebuilding effort." He later said, "I love this city, I love this fan base. I love the Superdome. I love the environment that our fans create on a weekly basis when we play here. There's really no fan base like it. Obviously, the bond that we share as a team with our fan base is unlike any other, I think, in all of professional sports. They're just so passionate and this [Super Bowl win] is as much for them as it is for anybody."
When it comes to her personal life, Brittany always wanted to maintain a low profile though she was very much interested in many charitable works and traveling. Brittany Dudchenko is very much famous for a beauty and her helping nature. Her charismatic presence in notable public events has made her very popular.
Brittany takes her role as a football player’s wife seriously and understands the responsibilities that come with the territory. She says, “You’re kind of the gatekeeper, so to speak. So, you’re protecting your husband, you’re making sure no added stress is put onto his plate. So, you’re making sure everyone has hotel rooms, everyone has tickets, everyone is happy.” And when Drew and his teammates lose a big game? “As a wife, you are trying to pretend like nothing’s wrong. This is an average day. Nothing is going on. Somehow you feel since you have no control that that is the one thing you can control are your own emotions.”But according to Brees, that is not always easy, sometimes “You want to throw up.” But Brittany and Drew do not seem too worried that they have more children than championship rings. Brees social media account is full of pictures of his family and clearly show to the more than three and a half million followers on Twitter and Instagram that family is the number one priority.
Drew Brees family was on the field to celebrate his breaking of the NFL’s all time passing record. ESPN microphones picked up Drew’s message to his three sons as he hugged them. "I love you guys so much. You can accomplish anything in life if you're willing to work for it." As of this year, The Brees Dream Foundation had raised over $22 million to charitable causes across the country.
