 Callum Blue biography

Callum Blue is an English actor well known for his portrayal of Mason on the hit Showtime series Dead Like Me (2003). Daniel James Callum Blue was born August 19, 1977, in London, England. Callum studied at Mountwiew Theatre School in London. Callum’s first television role came in 1999 in the British police television series The Bill. He appeared in other British television series including the medical soap opera Doctors, the BBC medical drama Casualty, the British family drama Where the Heart Is, and the six part British mini-series Shades. Blue joined the cast of Dead like Me in 2003 and became a recurring cast member.

Blue acted in twenty nine episodes of the show. Blue auditioned for the role of Lex Luthor in the television series Smallville, but was instead assigned the character of Major Zod, the younger clone of General Zodin. Blue was in season 9 of the series, starting from 2009 to 2011.Callum Blue, who was once ranked as number sixteen in SFX Appeal’s Top 20 Sexiest Men, also has many film credits. He has been in films such as Young Blades, Red Sands, Fractured, and The Red Dress. Callum Blue’s most recent performance was in the short film Goodnight Death in 2018. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
