Daniel James Callum Blue was born on August 19, 1977, in London, England. He studied acting at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, where he honed the skills that would launch his professional acting career.

Television Career

Callum Blue began his television career in 1999 with a role in the long-running British police procedural series The Bill. He went on to appear in several other British television series, including the medical soap opera Doctors, the BBC's hospital drama Casualty, the family drama Where the Heart Is, and the six-part mini-series Shades. These early roles helped build his reputation as a versatile TV actor.

In 2003, Blue gained wider recognition for his role as Mason in the Showtime series Dead Like Me. He appeared in 29 episodes of the show and quickly became a fan favorite for his portrayal of the eccentric and troubled grim reaper. His work on Dead Like Me marked his transition into the U.S. television market and solidified his status as a rising star.
