Career

Hawkins joined ITV's Meridian Tonight in 2003, facilitating its primary news program. She ended up leaving in 2006 to become the co-presenter of Sky's morning breakfast program Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes.

She additionally hosted her own daily show of breaking news and interviews. She tied down the coverage for Sunrise live at the Olympics, and displayed excellent coverage of the Diamond Jubilee and Royal Wedding. She also hosted Sky News' BAFTA's show and presented live from Los Angeles on the Oscars celebrity filled red carpet.

She has met many important politicians and government officials during her career including famous people like David Beckham, Oprah Winfrey and Sir Paul McCartney. She has appeared as a news presenter in the film 'Consumed' with Bradley Cooper, and also for both Diversity and The Wanted on their music tours.

She annually hosts cinema broadcasts of Andre Rieu concerts which are screened in many cinema auditoriums across the continent of Europe.
