Following her pregnancy in 2013, Egger took a break from broadcasting. After her maternity leave, she chose not to return to The Weather Channel. Instead, she joined KNBC in Los Angeles, where she became an anchor for America’s Morning Headquarters. At KNBC, she continues to serve as a key member of the station's weather team.
