Other Notable Collaborations

In March 2006, Harrison made a guest appearance on Liam Lynch’s podcast video variety show, Lynchland, where they performed a duet that was later featured on a Lynch album. He collaborated with Jakob Dylan on the John Lennon song “Gimme Some Truth” for the Lennon tribute album Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur, released on 12 June 2007. He is also credited on two unreleased Traveling Wilburys tracks under the pseudonym Ayrton Wilbury, a tribute to the late Formula One driver Ayrton Senna.

thenewno2 and Other Releases

In April 2006, it was announced that Harrison’s band thenewno2 had started recording. The band released a music video titled "Choose What You’re Watching" on its official website. In thenewno2, Harrison contributes lead guitar, vocals, and synthesizer alongside bandmate Oli Hecks, who plays drums and synths. Dhani also contributed to the 2007 EP by Heather Porcaro and the Heartstring Symphony and appeared on Rooney’s 2007 CD Calling the World.

That same year, he was involved in a contemporary reworking of the Beatles’ “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” titled “The Heart Gently Weeps,” which was featured as the lead single on Wu-Tang Clan’s album 8 Diagrams, released in December 2007.

Personal Life

Dhani Harrison married Solveig 'Sola' Káradóttir in June 2012. Sola is the daughter of Kári Stefánsson, co-founder of deCODE Genetics, a biomedical company based in Iceland. Although exact figures vary, Harrison’s estimated net worth is widely reported to be around $275 million, largely inherited and derived from his music career and legacy rights.
