Diedre Bolton 

Bolton earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, where she majored in English and French literature. She later obtained a master’s degree from New York University, further strengthening her academic background in literature and communication.

Professional Journey in Finance and Media

Before breaking into journalism, Deirdre Bolton began her career in the financial sector. She worked in institutional equity sales at CDC North America and Société Générale, where she was responsible for selling European equities to U.S.-based portfolio managers. This experience laid the foundation for her transition into business journalism.

Bolton transitioned into television broadcasting and joined Bloomberg Television. At Bloomberg, she hosted the program Money Moves and co-anchored morning business programming. During her tenure, she conducted interviews with major financial figures such as Bill Ackman, CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management; Gary Parr, Vice Chairman of Lazard; and billionaire investor Wilbur Ross. Her ability to engage with top-tier financial personalities earned her recognition for her insightful and informed reporting.

Fox Business Network and 'Risk & Reward'

In 2014, Deirdre Bolton joined Fox Business Network (FBN) as an anchor, where she became the host of the show Risk & Reward. The program focused on alternative investment strategies and financial risk management, reflecting her deep understanding of global markets and trends. Bolton's role at FBN positioned her as a prominent voice in financial journalism, offering audiences detailed and thoughtful analysis of the business world.
