Born on December 22, 1968, in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, Dina Meyer spent most of her childhood in Dix Hills, Long Island. She has two siblings: an older brother, Gregory, and a younger brother, Evan. From an early age, Meyer enjoyed outdoor activities such as rollerblading and snowboarding.
Her passion for acting began in childhood, and she started modeling at the age of nine. Although she aspired to become an actress, her parents initially discouraged her from pursuing this career path. Complying with their wishes, Meyer earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Long Island University, graduating in 1990. Afterward, she followed her passion and trained in acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City for three years.
Dina Meyer made her television debut in 1993 with a small role as a delivery person in the TV film Strapped. That same year, she gained more visibility portraying Lucinda Nicholson on the hit television series Beverly Hills, 90210.
One of her most notable television roles came in 2002 when she played Barbara Gordon in the series Birds of Prey. Over the years, Meyer has taken on numerous roles in a wide range of television shows. Notable appearances include playing Kate Miller on Friends (1997), Holiday on Secret Agent Man (2000), Dr. Rachel Harris on The Outer Limits, Lauren Logan on Miss Match (2003), Meg Cunningham on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2004), Elissa McClain on CSI: Miami (2007), and Holly Snow on NCIS (2010).
