She has two degree one from Boston University as bachelors degree in Broadcast journalism and Broadcast meteorology from Mississipi University. Her dream was to become a meteorologist and this is why she studied meteorology. Currently she is doing a dream job and she has put a lot of effort in her career to be where she is today.

She started her career in 2007 as a meteorologist in Fox News Network. Before she went to Fox News Network Dominica had worked with WBAL which is associated with NBC Baltimore. She later moved to WAVE-Television which is also associated with NBC in Kentucky. During her early days in career she worked as reporter as well as weather caster for NBC. To date she is working as a freelancer for the Bader Television and ION channels. She is considered to be very impressive personality in the meteorology network and many aspiring meteorologist want to be like her in future.
