Eboni Nichols is an African American dance choreographer for television and film who has worked with top artists like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Usher. Eboni is a California native and currently lives in Los Angeles.
Eboni Nichols was born in Eagle, a city in Ada County, Idaho. Eboni was only eight years old when she began dancing at Bre Dance Studio; she knew right away that she wanted to make dance her profession. First, Eboni graduated from Valley View High School in Moreno Valley, California. Then, she attended Chapman University in Orange, California, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre and Dance.
Eboni began her career by becoming a member of the Los Angeles Laker Girls. With her exceptional talent and good looks, she was soon given the opportunity of traveling worldwide with top-notch singers and entertainment professionals. Eboni honed her skills by being a backup dancer for various artists such as Beyoncé, Usher, and Jennifer Lopez. She not only did live shows but also appeared in videos. Later on, she began working at many notable events, movies, and entertainment programs such as The Charity Dreamgirls, Spotlight Events Inc., British Grammy, Block Financial Corporation, and Answers4Dancers as both a choreographer and a dancer. Eboni's experience led her to begin choreographing for television shows, commercials, and feature films. Her moves and her choreography are very much appreciated worldwide, and Eboni is in high demand. Eboni's work has been featured in advertising campaigns for McDonald's, Burger King, Farmers Insurance, Walgreens, Bud Light, Toyota, and Apple. She has also choreographed for the Los Angeles Clipper Girls, the National Football League, Demi Lovato, Bebe Rexha, Snoop Dogg, and Queen Latifa. Live shows that she has worked on include the American Music Awards, BET Awards, American Idol, Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Life. Recently, Eboni worked on all five seasons of the hit shows Jane the Virgin and Fresh Off the Boat. Some notable featured movies in which she has worked are Dreamgirls, Jack and Jill, Blades of Glory, Night School, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Office Christmas Party, and Girls Trip.
Besides being one of the most sought-after dance choreographers in Hollywood, Eboni Nichols is famous for dating a Grammy Award-winning singer Queen Latifah. There are rumors and controversies about both of them being romantically seen together at hotspots, beaches, and resorts. It is speculated that their relationship may have started when Eboni Nichols choreographed a routine for Queen Latifah to perform on the dance show called "Dancing With the Stars." It has been reported that the couples time spent together led to Queen Latifah ending her eight-year relationship with Jeannette Jenkins, a fitness instructor. Media rumored that Latifah and Eboni ended their relationship in 2016, but recently, they have been seen together.

As a choreographer and dancer by profession, Eboni Nichols's professional life ultimately revolved around famous people because of her work doing movies, live shows, and commercials. Although Eboni Nichols and Queen Latifah are generally considered as being a couple, there is no official confirmation from either of the ladies. Their relationship isn't talked about in interviews, but the couple has often been spotted together hugging and kissing. Queen Latifah has said, "I don't have a problem discussing the topic of being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life."
It was reported by Ebony Magazine this week that Queen Latifah and her longtime partner, Eboni Nichols are expecting a baby, as Eboni has been spotted with a full baby bump on display in pictures posted on Instagram. Sources claim that the couple, as well as starting a family together, are also engaged. Fans of Latifah are hoping that the rumors are true because the star has been struggling with the recent death of her mother, Rita Owens. Latifah had a very close relationship with her mother and referred to her as “the love of my life.” Latifah said of her mother: “She had struggled with a heart condition for many years and her battle is now over,” she said. “I am heartbroken but know she is at peace. Thank you for your kindness, support and respect for our privacy at this time. Much Love, Dana Owens (aka Queen Latifah), forever Rita Owens’ daughter.” Latifah also told E!News last year that she thought she had gotten partying out of her system and was in the right place to welcome a baby into the world saying “I’m good now. I think I’m ready.”
Eboni Nichols continues to be in high demand. She has appeared as a principal or been credited as a choreographer in over a dozen films. In addition, Nichols has helped to choreograph over forty different television programs and nearly thirty commercials. In addition, she has set the dance routines for the live shows and music videos for some of the world's most outstanding musical talent. Eboni Nichols once mentioned that she never believed her dancing talent would change her life, but it is apparent to all that it most assuredly has. Eboni's career has taken her from a backup dancer to a noted choreographer. Eboni was also recently given the honor of being elected to the Television Academy's Board of Governors. She is also Co-Governor of the Choreography Peer Group of the Television Academy and fellow choreographer Mandy Moore.
