Relationships and Marriages

Jennifer Lopez's relationships have often attracted media attention. She dated David Cruz, her high school sweetheart, for nearly a decade before their separation in 1994. In 1997, she married Cuban waiter Ojani Noa. Their marriage lasted only a year, ending in divorce in 1998. In 2006, Lopez filed a lawsuit against Noa to prevent the publication of a tell-all book, citing a breach of confidentiality. The court ruled in her favor, awarding her $545,000 in damages and ordering the confiscation of all copies of the manuscript.

High-Profile Relationships

In 1999, Lopez began a relationship with rapper and producer Sean Combs (also known as Puff Daddy or Diddy). The couple was involved in a high-profile incident involving a shooting at a nightclub near Times Square. Lopez was arrested but was soon cleared of all charges. Following their breakup, she began dating backup dancer Cris Judd, whom she married in 2001. The marriage ended in divorce in 2003.

Shortly after her divorce from Judd, Lopez began a relationship with actor Ben Affleck. The two became engaged in 2002 and were often referred to in the media as "Bennifer." They postponed their planned wedding in 2003, citing excessive media interference, and ultimately called off the engagement in early 2004. The split received substantial media coverage.

Marriage to Marc Anthony

In 2004, Lopez married singer Marc Anthony. The couple welcomed twins in 2008. In July 2011, they announced their separation, and their divorce was finalized in 2014. Reports suggested personal differences played a significant role in the breakup. Lopez later began dating Casper Smart, one of her backup dancers, the same year she separated from Anthony.
