Marisa Ramirez was born in 1977 and is an American actress. She attended Ramona Convent Secondary School, an all-girls institution located in Alhambra, California. Her interest in acting began early, and by the age of 13, she had already captured the attention of a major Los Angeles modeling agency, which led to an international modeling career. Upon returning home, Ramirez transitioned into acting and hosting roles.

<h2>Breakthrough Roles in Television</h2>
Ramirez gained recognition through starring roles in several well-known daytime series. One of her most notable appearances has been as NYPD Detective Maria Baez on the CBS crime drama Blue Bloods, a role she took over following the departure of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Esposito">Jennifer Esposito</a>.
