Tony Goldwyn is an accomplished actor and director, widely recognized for his role as Carl Bruner, the antagonist in the 1990 film Ghost. He further cemented his status in Hollywood through notable performances such as Colonel Bagley in The Last Samurai and by voicing the titular character in Disney's animated feature Tarzan (1999). His work in animation extended to video games, where he reprised the role of Tarzan in Kingdom Hearts and Tarzan Untamed.
Goldwyn gained renewed prominence for his portrayal of President Fitzgerald Grant III in the ABC political drama Scandal.
