Gracie Gold full name is Grace Elizabeth Gold and she was born in the year 1995. She is American figure skater and she competes in ladies’ singles. She is a 2012 world junior silver medalist and she was US national champion two times, the one of 2014 and of 2016. In the Winter Olympics of 2014, in Sochi, she got bronze medal for team event and she became fourth in Ladies’ single skating competition. The highest place that she was placed during the World Championship was fourth for both 2015 and for 2016.
From her biography, Gracie Gold was born in the city of Newton in Massachusetts State. She is the daughter of Carl Gold, an anesthesiologist and of Denise, the ER Nurse. She has a fraternal twin sister called Carly Gold and she is younger to her by 40 minutes. She also competes as a figure skater. Gracie Gold was raised by her parents in Springfield in the state of Missouri and they moved to Springfield, in Illinois. She did her studies of Ninth grade in Glenwood Senior High school at Chatham, in Illinois. She then switched and started to do online education. She also took the ballet lessons.
Gold began training in skating when she was 8 years old. She was training with Max Liu and Amy Vorhaben and then switched and worked with Alexia Griffin. Afterwards, he joined Susan Liss and afterwards Switched to train with Toni Hickey of Springfield in Illinois. She had also trained under Alex Ouriashev and she worked for her at two rinks in Chicago area. Gold competed in the pairs together with Sean Hickey and they were on the eighth position in the Juvenile pairs U.S Junior Championship in 2007.
Gold became the fourth for novice level in 2010 U.S championship. For the next season, she competed at the junior level and finished at the sixth level in Midwestern sectional and she failed to qualify to join national championship. As she finished the event, she started to prepare actively for the coming season and she was working more on her technical content.
When it comes to her siblings, she has only her twin sister and she says that she does not look like her in any way but she is the reason why she is on the top since she started to compete with her at young age. She decided to compete after attending a 8-year birthday party on an ice rink. Spins is what got to her since she thought that it is something cool. When she finished the nationals, she likes to eat meat-lover pizza. It may be gross to many but to her, it is so good. Before the competition, she juggles in order to calm the nerves.
Her current coach is Frank Carroll who was a figure skater and has coached three skaters who won World Figure Skating Championships. Her net worth is not recorded.
