Later Career and Accomplishments
In subsequent seasons, Kendrick went on to play for other MLB teams, including the Philadelphia Phillies and, most notably, the Washington Nationals. His performance with the Nationals during their 2019 World Series run was a career-defining moment, as he played a pivotal role, including hitting the go-ahead home run in Game 7 of the World Series. He officially retired from professional baseball in 2020.
