Born on May 16, 1986, in Chicago Illinois, US, Jacob has been acting since the year 2006. His first acting stint was the character of Earnest, one of the local amateur circus members, in the 2006 Fly High Films produced Little Big Top.

However, he actually started his career doing theatres (worked on Big: The Musical, Guys and Dolls, On Golden Pond and Les Misérables) in Chicago after graduating high school. Since his parents were really supportive, understanding and well enough, he didn't have to use so much of energy to convince them to pursue acting.

His early day's education included St. Francis Borgia Grammar School, and St. Patrick High School which is an all-boys' Catholic institution located in Chicago.

Nevertheless, he is a locally known musician (singer and harmonica player) as well. From his twitter account in January 2015, we came to know that he is starting a new metal band called Stainless Steel. Previously, he has worked with bands such as Megaband, a metal band, and Super Fly TNT, a funk band.

Talking about his relationship status, we have to speculate that he is single given we don't have any verifiable source to say otherwise. We will not consider Jacob and his Greek co-star Jessica Rose dating rumor to be true despite many sources strong claims until both of them verify officially. Interestingly, Jessica's Greek character was the one who took Rusty's virginity.

Last but not the least, his other notable works except Greek includes House, Detention of Dead, Surf's Up (additional voices), Those Who Wander and The Hive.

In an interview, Jacob said that his character Rusty should enjoy his university life more, take care of things in a relax way without worrying for small things and avoid being so desperate near girls.
