Her first movie break came in 1992 when she appeared in the movie Basic Instinct. A year later she got a role in The Firm with the actor Tom Cruise. in 1997 she played a role in the movie Til There Was you. After this, the roles were hard to come by so she had to do small roles in the movies and TV shows. Her next movies were Office Killer and Monument Ave. In 2006 he did a show for HBO called Big Love.
This show was a big hit among TV watchers as she did a great job of portraying the character. Her biggest achievement to date is being nominated for the Emmy Award for oUstandig Supporting Actress in a movie. Although she didn't win she was applauded for the great work that she did. In 2012 she started playing a role on the famous TV series Criminal Minds. She did two seasons of the show and then left it.
She started dating Ben Stiller in 1990 but they separated abruptly in 1996 without the knowledge of their friends and the media. She got married to Leland Orser in 2000. She also has a son with her husband. currently, she is living a very happy life with her husband and son in New York. She appears on TV and in movies from time to time but doesn't do big roles.
