Jeanne was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S. to the parents Suzanne and Tom Triplehorn, who was a musician and guitarist by profession. Her role was also appreciated by the critics and the audiences. Post that Jeanne bagged the role opposite Tom Cruise in the movie ‘The Firm’ in 1993. In 1990s she acted in over 10 movies and in close of 5 TV shows and gathered much appreciation for her performances. However her major hit came in 2006, when she worked in the role of ‘Barbara Henrickson’ in the TV series ‘Big Love’. In 2009 she appeared in another role in the TV series ‘Grey Gardens’ for which she was nominated for the prestigious Primetime Emmy Award.
