Jenna von Oy was born in Danbury Connecticut and her father is Frank Von Oy and her mother is Gloria. She went to Newtown High School and she started her career there as the child in the regional stage production and in commercials. She made the television acting debut in the year 1986 for the episode of ABC Weekend Special. It was followed by the guest roles in Kate & Allie and on Tales from the Darkside. Since 1990 until 1991, she was a co-star in Lenny, a CBS sitcom that was short-lived.

From 1990 until 1995, she was in the fast talking role of Six Lemeure in the series of Blossom. When the series ended, she went to the University of Southern California for its film school and during that time, she was the active member for the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity for around two years and she dropped out of the school to go back to act. In the year 1999, she got the role of playing Stevie Van Lowe as the sidekick of Kim Parkers for The Parkers. In the running of The Parkers she was also voicing Trinket St Blaire in animated series of Pepper Ann. After the Parkers that run from 2004, she appeared also in the role of the Television movie called Marsha Potter Gets a Life. Afterwards, she was the guest star for the episode of the Cold Case and it parodied for Alexis Bledel character for Rory Gilmore in the Family Guy called Perfect Castaway.

Besides the television, Jenna von Oy appeared in other movies and tv shows like the feature film called Born on The Fourth of July where she played with Tom Cruise. She was also the voice behind Stacey in the movie, A Goofy Movie. She was Gracie in the direct to DVD feature called Dr Dolittle 3. In the year 2000, she recorded the demo compact disc when she wanted to launch a recording career in the country music. The debut album was under the name Breathing Room and it was released in the year 2007.

Jenna von Oy is a married woman and her husband is called Brad Bratcher who is a computer data consultant, they live Connecticut and they have two daughters together. They got married after dating for some time and the name of their children is Marlowe Audrey Bratcher and Gray Audrey Bratcher.
