Jess Macallan is an American actress best known for her role as Josslyn Carver in the ABC television series Mistresses. Jess Macallan was born August 9, 1982, in Sarasota, Florida. Macallan’s interest in the arts began early; she studied dance from the age of three for twenty years and still practices today.
Macallan earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing from the University of Florida and then relocated to New York for an intensive Meisner based graduate acting program ath the Maggie Flanigan Studios. Macallan was a guest star on many television series including Shameless, Justified, The Protector, Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS:
Los Angeles before landing the leading role on the ABC drama series Mistresses. In 2017, Macallan became a member of the cast on the CW series Legends of Tomorrow playing the role of Ava Sharpe. Macallan is an ambassador for the Best Friends Animal Society and a supporter and participator in the Rally for Kids With Cancer charity event.
