Jimmy Riffle is a famous alligator wrestler and animal activist best known for his work on the Animal Planet show Gator Boys. On the show, Jimmy Riffle and his partner, Paul Bedard, work to help local residents with dangerous reptilians who have wandered into their backyards, swimming pools, or even their homes. The team rescues alligators, usually trapping the animals humanely with their bare hands. Alligators have been Jimmy’s passion ever since he was a young boy when he started volunteering at Native Village, a wildlife refuge.
Jimmy worked at Native village for over ten years and it was there that he met Paul. Throughout his career, Jimmy has often been bitten by alligators. The worst experience happened at Native Village where Jimmy was bitten by a nine-foot alligator that hung on for a very painful eight minutes. Helpers actually needed a crowbar to pry the alligator off of Jimmy’s arm. Jimmy and his wife, Sara, currently live in North Florida. They don't have kids yet but it is rumoured that they want some soon.
