Paul Bedard biography, age

Paul Bedard was born in New England and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in psychology. He began competing in Ironman races at age twenty, participating in distance, double-distance, and ultra-distance triathlons. He has always had a passion for animals. He initially sought to rescue and relocate sharks in the Florida Keys, but discovered that he suffered from seasickness and diverted his approach to alligators, instead.

He ultimately founded "GATOR BOYS Alligator Rescue" with his partner, Jimmy Riffle. They duo seeks to rescue alligators and transport them from private property into safe areas such as the Everglades Holiday Park. Their business was made into a show on Animal Planet called "Gator Boys".

Paul uses this platform to advocate for the rights of animals and educate others. Although he has been bitten over thirty times, he has dedicated his life to the respect and admiration of dangerous creatures. He currently lives in Massachusetts with his family where he works as a Life Guard, earning less than $10,000/year.
