Joseph Raymond Francis, better known as Joe Francis was born on April 1, 1973 in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents Raymond Francis, and Maria Francis came from Austria and constantly moved around in the United States. When Joe was seven, they arrived to Newport Beach, California. In here Joe went to Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Elementary School. But this was not for him, and he got in trouble so many times that he got out of school. Not knowing what to do with their son, Joe’s parents enrolled him to a series of different boarding schools as their disciplinary action. At this time, Joe looked for different ways to get in trouble and at last he got himself the way out of those schools.

It was until high school when Joe finally was allowed to return home. By that time, Joe’s family had moved to Laguna Beach where he attended Laguna Beach High School. By this time, he got a series of jobs from an ice-cream store to a computer and video store where he had his first try on sales and business. Later on, Joe signed up at USC (University of Southern California) on the Business Administration program. In collage, he was part of the Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Additionally, on this time he attended courses for film and TV. In 1995 he graduated acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree from the Entrepreneurial Program.

Professional Life

Joe wanted to be a businessman. He also loved film making. He combined these 2 passions of his to create 2 successful business, creating “Girls Gone Wild” and “Banned from Television”. His entrepreneurships have earned him the net worth value of 50 million dollars. But this all didn’t occurred straight forward. At first he started working as production assistant for the Real TV program. This job gave him the first idea to sell content that was banned from television for excessive violence mostly, creating his first successful brand. That eventually took him into a video of real-life spring-break scenes with nude girls. That was when “Girls Gone Wild” was conceived. It consolidated as an entertainment brand, but it was declared in bankruptcy in 2013.

Scandals

Getting into trouble as a kid has continued as an adult. Joe has been involved in several scandals for his way of life and controversial business. The endless list includes filming explicit content with minors, filming without permission, sexual assault, tax evasion, false return and bribery. He has been released of most charges, but also has served in community service and had spent some time in prison, paying high amounts of money in fines. He searched refugee in Mexico to escape from his legal issues.

Personal Life

In 2010, Joe got married with Christina McLarty. But this didn’t last long and a month later Christina left and they filled in a divorce. Abbey Wilson became Joe’s permanent girlfriend. They met when Abbey won the Girls Gone Wild’s "Search for the Hottest Girl in America" contest in 2012. They gave birth to their first children. Twin daughters named Alexandria Claire Francis and Athena Olivia Francis, born in October 7, 2014.
