Jonny Brown, an American professional road racing cyclist, was born on April 20, 1997, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. From an early age, Brown demonstrated a passion for competitive cycling, ultimately leading him to pursue the sport professionally.

He comes from a family with a strong cycling background. His older brother, Nathan Brown, is also a professional road racing cyclist. Nathan, who is six years Jonny's senior, has ridden for several prominent teams, including the Bontrager Cycling Team and UCI WorldTeam EF Education-EasyPost (formerly EF Education First Pro Cycling). Notably, Nathan was the first cyclist from Tennessee to compete in the Tour de France.

Professional Career and National Championship

Jonny Brown began gaining recognition on the professional cycling circuit during his time with Hagens Berman Axeon, a UCI Continental team known for developing young talent. One of the most significant milestones of his career came in 2018 when he won the United States National Road Race Championships. At just 21 years old, Brown stunned many by taking the national title, showcasing his tactical intelligence and endurance.

International Competition and Race Participation

During the 2018 season, Brown competed in numerous races across North America and Europe, solidifying his reputation as a rising talent in the cycling world. His race calendar that year included the Tour de l’Eurométropole, Grote Prijs Jef Scherens-Ronde van Leuven, Primus Classic, Grand Prix de Wallonie, Gylne Gutuer, Lillehammer GP, the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah, Tour de Beauce, Paris–Roubaix Espoirs, Le Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, Arno Wallaard Memorial, Trofeo Piva, and the Istrian Spring Trophy. Each event added to his growing experience and exposure on the international stage.
