His sister, when she got the letter; she sent it to four people and he adds the sister to the list and sent the letters. The best friend of Rachel got the letter and decided to forward it to five of his friends. Johnny Jones who was being played by Matt Cohen got the letter and did not send it thinking that it is ridiculous and he died and from then on, many people started to die without explanation and everyone died as a result of the chain. A detective called Jim Crenshaw played by Keith David, asked to be sent the letters and also died from the chain. In the end, it was found out that the person behind the murders is an ex solders who was tortured during the war because he had the cell phone that was issued by the government and he started anti-technology campaign. In the movie, Khatira Rafiqzada played as Miss Garrett.
