Kirstin Taylor "Kirstie" Maldonado was born on May 16, 1992 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA to Spanish-Italian mother and Mexican father. With a mom, who always was a single parent to Kirstie, she raised in Fort Worth and attended some high school there. Her mother put her into voice lessons when she was 8 years old and she also did a community theatre show, she always said that she fell in love with it. In high school, she did all the school choirs and was a member of the Texas All State Choir for three years. She always had a plan to be on Broadway one day.
A four-year show choir member and dance captain, Kirstie held numerous roles in local stage productions, performing at shows around the Metroplex, including Casa Manana and Bass Hall. Kirstie attended Martin High School with other members of her future band. She performed as a trio with Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying. After graduated from school she studied Musical Theater at the University of Oklahoma on a full-ride scholarship as a National Hispanic Scholar, but did not graduate because of first steps for a career of musician and systematic band work on tours.
Kirstie and her friends, whom she knows since she was 8 years old, founded their new band “Pentatonix” in 2011 along with Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola. After that, band eventually winning the third season of "The Sing-Off". Making her music and acting for decades on hundreds of stages across the world, Kirstin trying to inspire adolescents to never give up on their dreams. After winning she moved to Los Angeles and during several years with Pentatonix band, she got two Grammy awards. With her band mates she produced and released 2 EP’s – PTX Vol 1 & PTXmas – each time debuting on Billboard’s Top 200 and selling more than 125,000 albums.
Maldonado also appeared in an episode of Bones In May 2016, along with her band mates Grassi and Hoying. Mandolado is a multi-platinum recording artist. Kirstin’s solo career includes appearances in concerts and charity galas alongside with the most respected musicians and composers. Kirsie says that she is not the most active person in the world, but in real we see her great work in creation original music for band, everyday choreography practice makes performances more brightest and hard tour preparations it's the main reason for their great success as a band.
On personal time she takes online classes and really wants to go back and get degree. As for the personal life, Kirstie is engaged to singer Jeremy Michael Lewis from may 29, 2016. There is no information about their wedding date yet. Kirstie met her future husband in 2013 while she was competing on the 4th session of an American television singing competition “The Sing-Off” and they having love affairs since that time. Jeremy Lewis had his own company “Platobrand”. Together with her boyfriend Kirstie made a music video titled “Disney Love Medley” and uploaded in her YouTube account.
