Breakthrough on So You Think You Can Dance

Lauren first gained national prominence as a contestant on Season 3 of FOX Network’s reality competition show, So You Think You Can Dance. Her energy, dedication, and natural talent earned her a place in the top six finalists. Although she did not win the competition, her bond with the show grew stronger in subsequent seasons. From Seasons 4 to 6, she returned as an assistant to choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo, Mia Michaels, and Tyce Diorio. Her consistent involvement eventually led to her being featured as an "All-Star" dancer in Seasons 7, 8, and 9, cementing her position as a respected professional in the dance community.

Professional Dance and Choreography Career

Beyond the show, Lauren expanded her profile in the professional dance world. She performed and choreographed for several prominent artists, including Britney Spears, Rihanna, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Carrie Underwood, Willow Smith, and Sean Kingston. Her versatility and stage presence made her a much sought-after collaborator in the entertainment industry.

Transition to Acting and Bollywood Career

Embracing opportunities beyond the dance floor, Lauren ventured into acting and became widely recognized in Indian cinema. Her breakout Bollywood role came with the 2013 film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance, a dance-based movie where her skills were spotlighted to great effect. She later appeared in several Indian films such as ABCD 2 (2015), Welcome to Karachi (2015), Welcome Back (2015), Bhaag Johnny (2015), and Ambarsariya (2016). Her adaptability to Indian dance styles and her commitment to learning Hindi further solidified her appeal in Bollywood.
