Lisa was happily surprised that the on-air persona that Jim portrayed on television was just an exaggerated extension of his real personality. He wasn’t the loud and brash TV presenter when they were alone together. He was a deep and introspective person, the kind of man that she could see spending the rest of her life with.

While on their first date. Lisa told Cramer that two years earlier, her 2-year-old daughter, Grace, had died as a result of cardiomyopathy, a chronic disease of the heart muscle. Being close with his own children, he admired her strength and was amazed she was able to go on after such a tragedy. Jim was moved by the fact that Lisa would share such sensitive information on their first date.

Cramer decided he wanted to date Lisa seriously before somebody else did. He didn’t want to lose her and made sure that she knew he was serious and committed to her. They got married on April 15, 2008.

Career

Lisa Cadette Detwiler used to work for Phoenix, a startup company that had a specialization in the dermatologic industry. While there, she became known for her creativity and great vision and was also admired for her ability to see things from other people’s perspectives.

After her initial career start, she went on to work at the Corcoran Group Real Estate in Brooklyn Heights. She was known to be a very good employee at Corcoran Group Real Estate. She is known to work very efficiently while taking care of her client’s needs as she guides her clients through the process of purchasing the property. She was also known to set many sales records in 2012 while selling real estate in Brooklyn and the surrounding areas. Her awards included the highest priced house sale in several places like Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill.

Lisa works closely with many non-profit organizations and also works for the Brooklyn Kinder Society and is on the Board of the Brooklyn Historical Society.
