Marguerite MacIntyre is an American actress who has worked on and off Broadway and it television and film. Marguerite MacIntyre was born in Michigan on May 11, 1961. Marguerite attended Coronado High School in Scottsdale, Arizona and performed in her first play at the age of sixteen.
She went on to receive her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California and to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Marguerite began her television career with an appearance as Miss Rhode Island on Seinfeld in 1989 and has since appeared on many other shows including Bones, The Mentalist, CSI:Miami, and CSI:New York. Marguerite had a recurring role opposite Michael Chiklis on The Shield and was a series regular on The Days.
Most recently, Marguerite can be seen in her role as the sheriff in the hit television series, The Vampire Diaries. Marguerite has taken to writing and her most recent creation, an episode for Legacies on The CW Network, called “Mombie Dearest” will premiere on December 6. Marguerite was married to Marcos Siega from 1990 to 2000.
