She pursued higher education in the arts and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California. Further honing her craft, she also studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Stage and Television Career
MacIntyre has had a versatile acting career encompassing theater, television, and film. She has worked both on and off Broadway, earning recognition for her theatrical performances. Her television debut came in 1994 with a guest appearance on the sitcom Seinfeld. Contrary to some reports, she did not appear as "Miss Rhode Island" in the show in 1989, as that character and time frame do not align with the show's actual air dates.
Following her debut, she went on to appear in a number of popular series, including Bones, The Mentalist, CSI: Miami, and CSI: NY. Notably, she held a recurring role opposite Michael Chiklis in the critically acclaimed series The Shield and was a series regular on the short-lived ABC drama The Days.
