Marie Zielcke is a German actress of film, television, and theater who is perhaps best known for her role in the 2004 film Agnes and His Brothers. Marie Zielcke was born on February 3, 1979, in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Her film credits include Fata Morgana (2007), Alibi (2007), Lammbock (2001), Highway Society (2000), and Am I Beautiful? (1998). More recently, Marie has appeared in Krupp: A Family Between War and Peace (2009). Between 2004 and 2007, Marie Zielcke was married to fellow actor Henry Thomas. The couple was introduced in Berlin by the director Mika Kaurismaki during the making of his film Honey Baby, for which Thomas wrote and performed four original songs. Henry Thomas is perhaps best known for his role in the Steven Spielberg film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
They were married in a chapel in Las Vegas which happens to be the same chapel that Brittney Spears married Jason Alexander The couple has a daughter named Hazel. Marie Zielcke also maintained a relationship with actor Christoph Maria Herbst. Marie Zielcke is an avid scuba diver, first taking to the sport on a vacation in Maldives. She prefers lake diving to the ocean because the underwater forests reveal themselves as “enchanted” to her.
