At the end of this drama, Judge Robert Dry accused Steve's ex-wife of spreading false news about Steve and declared that she lied about being evicted from her house, that Steve took her son away from her and that Marjorie Bridges had anything to do with her divorce. After the ruling, Mary was compelled to take down the videos and prohibited to discuss her past relations with Steve with the media. Marjorie and Steve were glad to put that part of Steve’s life behind him.
Big Family
Since Marjorie and Steve both already had children from their previous lovers, there was an adjustment period when their families were combined.
Marjorie had three children from her previous marriages. Morgan who was her first child, was born in 1987. Her other kids, Jason was born in 1991 and Lori was born in 1997. Steve never had any ill will towards them and had lots of love for them as he helped Marjorie raise them. If they were in need, he was fully present and by their sides.
When she married Steve Harvey, she became a step mother to the children from his previous marriages. His children are twins Brandi and Karli, and son Broderick Steve Jr. from his first marriage, and son Wynton from his second marriage.
When they finally got married, their respective children from their previous relationships did not feel comfortable living in a mixed household. And they had obvious hesitations regarding their suddenly larger family. However, the couple have been loving parents and their love extends to everyone in the family. They have been praised by their friends for being able to keep a happy home with so many dynamic members.
Steve Harvey Foundation
Marjorie and Steve went far from just being two celebrities known for their shows and fashion blog to becoming humanitarians. They created the Steve Harvey Foundation and the both feel it is one of the greatest accomplishments in their lives. They had an inner drive to help others because they felt it was better to create a difference in people’s lives than just entertain them. Both of them participated in a lot of charitable efforts in order to help others and to find redemption for their own personal mistakes.
Some of their charitable efforts include mentoring boys who were raised by single moms, the event is often held on Father’s' Day. They also held career orientations for students at Disney World. They created a program that recognizes small sized businesses.
The Steve Harvey Foundation tries to raise funds in order to give away millions of dollars to children in need. Steve had made millions of dollars in his career and he wants to make sure that at least some children in the world get to benefit from his success.
