Matthew Prokop, professionally known as Matt Prokop, is an American actor born in 1990 in Victoria, Texas. He is the son of Deborah Terry and Anthony Prokop and has an older sister named Stephanie Prokop. At the age of 16, Matt moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Matt Prokop began his acting career with representation from APA and Management 360. His first television appearance came in 2007 with a brief role in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. He subsequently made a walk-on appearance in the popular sitcom The Office.
In 2009, he guest-starred in an episode of Medium as Kyle Covington. That same year, he secured a role in Furry Vengeance (2010), portraying the son of Brendan Fraser’s character. His breakout role came as Jimmie Zara in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which brought him notable attention among young audiences.
