Brendan James Fraser was born on December 3, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Brendan is an American film actor who is most famous for his role as Rick O’Connell in the Mummy film franchise. He was also the George in the movie George of the Jungle.
Upbringing
Brendan’s father, Peter Fraser is a Canada based travel executive and married to his sweetheart, Carol Frazer. Brendan is youngest of four siblings. The names of his siblings are Kevin Fraser, Sean Fraser and Regan Fraser. Brendan was brought up in three countries during his life. He enjoyed being raised in Geneva, Canada and Holland. His ancestry can be traced back to Ireland Scotland, Germany and France.
He completed his education at the Cornish College of Arts in Seattle, Washington. He also holds a dual citizenship in two countries, Canada and America. Brendan is a fluent speaker of both the English and French languages.
Film Career
Brandan was once considered to play the role of famous comic book character, Superman, for the 2006 movie, Superman Returns. He was also discussed to play the famous character Mr. Fantastic in the 2005 movie, Fantastic Four.
During the 2000s, Brendan was on a hot run and hard to turn many roles down. He was the primary choice to play the lead title role in the 1999 movie, Inspector Gadget. Matthew Broderick bagged the role instead. While he was filiming Bedazzled in 2001, he had to turn down a role in The Wedding Planner due to scheduling conflicts since he was overbooked. Eventually, Matthew McConaughey ended up getting the role instead.
Fraser had signed up for a film about William Tell, but he ended up in a legal dispute with the filmmakers over production delays. He also dropped out of a television pilot for a series over creative differences in 2012.
In November 2006, he filmed Inkheart at the famous London based, Shepperton Studio.
In 2008, Brendan was rewarded with huge box office success with his big movie, Journey to the Center of the earth.

In December 2001, Brendan appeared in stage adaptation of The Cat on the Hot Tin Roof in London.
In 2010, Fraser made his Broadway debut in the comedy Elling. Unfortunately, the show only had a short run because of poor reviews and weak ticket sales.
Apart from being an actor, Brendan also holds a strong interest in the art of photography and filmmaking. He holds credits for recording several plays which were broadcasted on radio. These included famous works by T.Williams and E O’Neill.

While attending a barbecue at famous actress, Winona Ryder’s house in 1993, he met Afton Smith, who was a fewllow actress. They started dating and after five years of courtship, they got married. Afton and Brendan had their wedding in a garden at a famous luxury hotel in LA. Brendan has three sons from this marriage.
