Michael Gladis was born on August 30, 1977, in Houston, Texas, United States. He spent his formative years in Farmington, Connecticut, where he graduated from Farmington High School in 1995. During high school, he volunteered at Miss Porter’s School, a girls-only institution that occasionally needed male actors for theater productions. It was through these early experiences in theater that he discovered his passion for acting. Pursuing this newfound interest, Gladis attended SUNY School of Art and Design at Alfred University before transferring to the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre in 1999.
