Michael Trevino is an American actor who was born on January 25, 1985, in Montebello, California. His mother was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and his father was born in Fresno, California to Mexican immigrants. Trevino's career took off quickly when he was very young with his first role being Jackson Meade in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Cow Belles". Trevino went on to guest star on various television shows including episodes of "Cold Case", "Without a Trace", "Bones", and "Commander in Chief". He went on to play the role of Alastair in an episode of the television series "Charmed". Trevino landed a recurring role next in the FX series "The Riches" where he played a high school student named Brent. His character had a four-episode story arc which was spread between the first and second seasons. His next role would be in the short-lived television series "Cane" in 2007.
He was also cast in three episodes of The CW's hit series "90210" as Ozzie who was Naomi's love interest in the show. By 2009, Trevino landed a starring role in the CW series "The Vampire Diaries" as Tyler Lockwood. He eventually left the show along with fellow star Nina Dobrev at the end of the sixth season.
