Mika Emilie Leonia Brzezinski popularly known as Mika Brzezinski was born on May 2, 1967 in New York City. A well-known American television personality, best-selling author, and a top-rated journalist, Mika is co-host of MSNBC's popular morning show Morning Joe, which she hosts with Joe Scarborough.
A TV news veteran, Brzezinski is the daughter of former president Jimmy Carter's national security Mr. Zbigniew Brzezinski who is also a counselor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and a professor at the Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University, in Washington. Her mother is a sculptor. She has a brother Mark Brzezinski, a diplomat serving from 2011 to 2015 as US ambassador to Sweden.
