Mike Judge is an American actor, voice actor, animator, writer, producer, and director who is perhaps best known for creating the television series Beavis and Butthead. Beavis and Butthead is an American adult animated sitcom that ran for seven seasons from 1993 through 1997 and chronicled the lives of two socially incompetent and delinquent teen agers named Beavis and Butthead. Mike Judge was born Michael Craig Judge on October 17, 1962, in Santiago de Guayaquil, Ecuador, to an American couple. His father was an archeologist and his mother was a librarian. Judge attended St. Pius X High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of California, San Diego. After college and a three month stint in silicon valley at a start up, Judge toured for two years with a blues band, playing bass. In 1992, he developed Frog Baseball, a short film featuring the characters Beavis and Butt-Head. After the success of Beavis and Butthead, Judge co-created a new show called King of the Hill. The animated show was about the Hills, a middle-class Methodist family in small suburban town in Texas. King of the Hill was a huge success and the series became one of Fox network’s highest rated programs.
