This famous American football player Muhammad Wilkerson was born on October 22, 1989. He completed his studies from hometown Linden, New Jersey in Linden High School. Wilkerson was born to Janice Wilkerson and Alvin Wilkerson. He has 3 siblings, all of them gals, Haseez Brown, Zakkaiyah Wilkerson, and La Quan Brown, he being the only male child in the house. He completed his college at Temple, where he was selected by Jets in 2011 NFL Draft. Muhammad Wilkerson professional football player, is a Muslim.

He is the son, Janice who is African and Alvin Wilkerson, who is an American citizen. His mother follows all the rituals, also wears a hijab! However, he fails to fast during their holy month Ramadan due to his career in sports. He does aim to fast in Ramadan in the coming future. This young football player is single not yet married; his personal life about his girlfriend is not disclosed in public! There were rumors of dating a girl but the name of his girlfriend didn’t come up, in any of his interviews.

He has a tattoo made with his mother’s name inked on his arm of right hand which shows his love affection and closeness towards his mother. Career

He started as a fresher in Temple University in 2008 made a record within a year. He was considered as a star performer and had a successful career at Temple in 2010, before he was selected with the 30th pick by the NFL Draft in the 2011. At the time, pre-season Wilkerson had been evicted reason being his fight with Brandon Jacobs.He made up his first move in career on September 18, 2011 with competitor Jacksonville Jaguars, which gave a leg up to his career!

In his junior season, he was selected for the first-team All-Watchung Conference. For the season, he had helped lead Linden in basketball. He was chosen for the Home News Tribune and Newark Star Ledger.

A four-year contract was signed by him for $7.4 million in July 31, 2011. Later, he signed a 5-year deal for $86 million consisting $53 million fixed pay and bonus. He was eventually drafted by New York Jets being the fourth temple player led by 3 players; he also turned out to be Owls' highest draft pick.

Muhammad Wilkerson famous defensive end had a leg injury in 2016, which resulted to Jets losing the game. He has not been recovered from this yet. Though he could be considered a man with high spirits as he states he is getting very closer to return for playing. This has proven loss for the Jets.

He has a net worth of $17,435,000, his yearly salary comes up to $6,974,000 in 2015 and bonus separately. Wilkerson has been a person with great heart! He lives with the belief that no matter how much he earn, it’s his responsibility to give some of it back to the community, he belongs to.
