Nancy Giles is an American actress and commentator who was born on July 17, 1960, in New York City, New York to Dorothy Aileen and Thomas Jefferson Giles. She spent her early years growing up in New York City and attended the private liberal arts school Oberlin College in Ohio. In 1984, Giles became a member of the Second City Touring Company. Giles pursued a career in acting and appeared in the 1985 Broadway production of the musical "Mayor".
She went on to land her first roles in the 1988 films "Working Girl" and "Big". She returned to the big screen in the 1999 film "True Crime". She also was cast as the original voice actress for Sawyer in "Cats Don't Dance" in 1997 but her voice was later replaced by the voice of Jasmine Guy. Giles also made her mark in television when she played GI Frankie Bunsen for three seasons of the hit drama series "China Beach". She went on to play a hostile waitress named Connie in the sitcom "Delta" as well as many guest roles on shows such as "The Jury", "L.A. Law", "Spin City", "Law & Order", "Dream On", and "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air".
