Natalya is a Canadian-American professional wrestler whose real name is Natalie Katherine Neidhart-Wilson. Natalya was born on May 27, 1982, in Calgary, Canada, to wrestler Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and Ellie Hart. Natalya's mother is the daughter of Stu Hart making Natalya the third generation in her family to wrestle professionally. She has two sisters named Jennifer who is a chef and Kristen who is the youngest of the two. Natalya attended Vincent Massey Junior High School but graduated from Bishop Carroll High School in 2000. Natalya trained in both martial arts and wrestling and also danced and did gymnastics as a child. When she was eighteen, she briefly worked as a saleswoman for Kirby Vacuums. Her wrestling career started off in late 200 when she hosted the Eric Bischoff led youth-promotion MatRats. In 2003, Natalya began working for the Hart Family's own promotion company Stampede Wrestling.
She began wrestling in the ring herself which began a long time feud with Belle Lovitz. Natalya even teamed with her father, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart against her rival Lovitz and Apocalypse. She eventually signed a contract with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2007. She married her childhood sweetheart TJ Wilson on June 26, 2013, and their wedding was even featured on the first season of "Total Divas".
