The African-American had a great career in music as well as in movies and TV shows. At the age of 15, she was approached by Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams. The 3 women formed a group together and called themselves 3LW. They released No More (Baby I'ma Do Right) in 2000 which received a lot of good reviews and was followed by another group's single Playas Gon' Play. The women released their debut album which was named the same as the group was. It sold over 1.3 million copies in the United States. 3LW was a big deal then and was invited to join MTV TRL tour which featured such stars like Nelly, Jessica Simpson, and others.
The next year singers spent time coming up with a new album. The tracks from the upcoming album leaked on the internet and the label considered dropping the group for good. However, thanks to the protest of the fans the group stayed together. The group, did, however, disband in the summer of 2002 due to internal conflicts between the members.
Naughton then went on for a solo work doing Broadway musicals as well as television and movies. She starred in Notorious as Lil' Kim and appeared on TV shows like Mad Men and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.
