A brief of Neil Patrick Harris

For some fans, he will be forever remain the young smart doctor Doogie Howser. As he grows, people are more familiar with his role as Barney in How I met Your mother. The versatile actor made a debut in 1988 and the plethora of movies have become his foods since then. The went from big screen to tv series and he succeeded both all the way. People were questioning his sexual orientation but after he made a public announcement that he is a gay, he is no ordinary actor.

Neil Patrick was born on 15th June 1973 in Alburqueque. The New Mexico born guy is the child of two attorneys. He has been acting in various productions including the Wizard of Oz and several other musical plays in high school.

Patrick was only 15 when he started his acting career. The Golden Globe nominee played with Whoopi Goldberg in Clara’s heart. The drama went successful and led to another plays. Doogie Howser was a huge show back then with his persona as a young doctor. He was nominated for Golden Globe for the 4 seasons.

He continues his acting roles and stays busy in Starship Troopers, Harold and Kumar and also the Next Best Thing. He also joined the NBC for a sitcom, Stark Raving Mad alongside Tony Shalhoub. Neil appeared several times in Broadway shows and also one of the best hosts in Cabaret.

His early 90s and 2000 were filled with several movie projects including The Christmas Blessing, My Antonia and Joan of Arc. Also, the success of his role in How I met Your Mother as a womanizer, Barney Stinson. He hosted Tonys, Broadway award show and succeeded the role. He became the MC for 4 times and his first Tony Award arrived in 2014 for Best Leading Actor in Musical. The Show did won various awards including best actress. Neil was praised for his talent as he hosted 87th Academy Awards as a total play including musical opening and appearing in skivvies. It was hilarious performance and also memorable one.

Neil Patrick personal life

He made a public statement in People Magazine that he is a gay. In fact in 2006, the public praised his statement for living his life to the fullest as a gay man. His sexual orientation doesn’t stop him from curating many success. Married to David Burtka in 2014, the wedding was quite intimate event with Sir Elton John singing in the reception. The couple were also expecting baby twins in 2010 from surrogate mother. They became parents in October 12 the same year with the babies names are Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.
