Born on November 21, 1983, to Jon Garcia and Kathy Colace, Stephanie Nicole Nikki Garcia-Colace nicknamed as Nikki Bella in San Diego, California. She spent most of her childhood days in Scottsdale, Arizona with her twin sister Brianna Monique Brie Bella Garcia-Colace and brother JJ Garcia. She completed her schooling in 2002 from Chaparral High School and also played soccer during her elementary school for the Scottsdale Club. She went to Grossmont College and played soccer there with her twin sister Brie Bella. Her mother Kathy Colace is from Italy and father Jon Garcia is from Mexican. Hence, she is of Italian-Mexican descent. Just one year after joining college, she shifted to Los Angles and working at the Mondrian Hotel as a waitress.
Her promising career started when she starred in Meet My Folks, a reality show airing on Fox Reality in the year 2002 and 2003. Nikki and her twin sister Brie went on to participate in the International Body Doubles Cup trophy in 2006 and in the same year, they were the participants of the WWE Diva Search, where they were not able to win. Before this, they were also photographed as the World Cup Twins holding the World Cup Trophy for Budweiser. Following their participation in WWE Diva Search, they were signed by WWE for a development contract in the year 2007, and they became part of the Florida Championship Wrestling. Their debut was in the year 2007 in a match against Nattie Neidhart and Krissy Vaine, where they were able to defeat them. She has been a two times winner of the WWE Divas Champion and won her first against Beth Phoenix in the year 2012 where she held the title for 307 days. She won the title second time and was able to hold it for 301 days, which became the longest in the title’s history. In 2015, Nikki suffered a neck injury and underwent surgery and was seen at the WrestleMania 32 to support her sister. She won the Slammy Award For Diva of the Year on December 21 and was ranked in the Female 50 as number 1.
The twin sisters were seen in many television shows and movie. Nikki was cast as Erica in the 2014 comedy-drama film Confessions of a womaniser and then she went on to voice the character of Nikki Boulder in the 2015 animated movie The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age SmackDown!.
In the last season of Total Divas, Nikki revealed that when she was 20, she got married to her high school boyfriend and was married for three years before getting annulment with her husband. There are no reports of any divorce. She started dating Dolph Ziggler, and they were together for nine months. Then, in the year 2012, she started dating the WWE star John Cena.
