Peter R. Orszag

Peter Richard Orszag is an American economist who serves at the Corporate and Investment Banking as its Vice president. A graduate of the New York University School of Law, he is also works at the Financial Strategy and Solutions Group as the Chairman and often writes columns in magazines and newspapers. He was formerly a distinguished visitor at the Council on Foreign Relations, and before that was a columnist at the New York Times. He was also a former director of Office of Management and Budget under president Obama, as well as a former director of Congressional Budget Office. Still in his mid-40s, he has been successful in the things that he does, and thus has achieved a huge success and fame in the United States. With his estimated net worth value of about 700 thousand US dollars, he has got a big number of fan following on his social media accounts; like Twitter.

Peter Orszag was born on the 16ht of December, 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America. He was born in a middle class family, as an only son of father Steven Orszag, who worked as a Mathematics professor at the Yale University. His mother Reba Orszag owned a research and development company. Born as an only child, he was brought up with all the love and care from his family, and had a very decent childhood. He was educated at the Phillips Exeter Academy, where he was an excellent scholar. After graduating high school in 1987, he went to Princeton University and graduated in 1991 with a degree in economics. The following year, he enrolled at the London School of Economics and earned a Master’s degree, followed by a Ph.D. degree. He is also a graduate at the New York University School of Law.

After completing his studies, he started out as a lecturer of economics at the University of California, Berkeley from 1999 to 2000. Then, he served as Deputy Director of Economic Studies at the Brookings Institution, and was the leader of the The Hamilton Project. Before completing his Ph.D., he served as a special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy for a year till 1998. A senior economist at the Council of Economic Advisers, he later became a founder of a group called Sebago Associates. Currently, he is a member of the National Academy of Medicine under the National Academy of Science project. He was also a member at the board of directors at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. His list of employment also includes the Mt. Sinai Hospital, New Visions for Public Schools in New York, ideas42 and Russell Sage Foundation.

Regarding his personal life, it seems like he is not the type of person who has had a great deal of affairs. While his relationship data is widely searched on the internet, there aren’t a lot of names that come up related to him. He is a married person, and has been with his wife Bianna Golodryga since 2010. With no signs of divorce between them, they have got two children together.
