Rachel Lindsay is an attorney and American television personality who was born on April 21, 1985, in Dallas, Texas. Lindsay was born to her mother who was a former computer programmer and beauty consultant named Kathy. Her father is a federal judge named Sam A. Lindsay. She has two siblings, a younger and older sister. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's Degree. While she attended university, she studied kinesiology and sports management before going on to get her law degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Lindsay worked as a legislative intern for Texas State Senator Royce West and also as an intern for the Milwaukee Bucks. She eventually went on to work at Cooper & Scully, P.C., during her time at the company she became accepted as a contestant on the ABC show "The Bachelor". Lindsay appeared on Nick Viall's season of "The Bachelor" and received the first impression rose on the first night. She eventually went on to place third overall loosing to Vanessa Grimaldi. While she was still a contestant on "The Bachelor", she was announced as "The Bachelorette" on February 13, 2017. Lindsay's season of "The Bachelorette" featured the most diverse cast in the series' history.
