Reshma Shetty

Education and Musical Training

Shetty initially pursued pre-medical studies at James Madison University. However, her passion for music led her to participate in various music competitions, where she earned early recognition. This success inspired her to shift her academic focus to music, eventually graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Opera Performance. She continued her studies by obtaining a Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Kentucky and later earned an Artist Diploma in Opera from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 2005.

Career in Television and Theatre

Reshma Shetty is a British-American actress and singer, best known for her television role as Divya Katdare on the USA Network’s medical comedy-drama series Royal Pains. She began her professional performance career in 2006 as the female lead in the U.S. national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical Bombay Dreams. She also appeared in the Off-Broadway production Rafta Rafta.

Shetty earned widespread acclaim on television for her appearances in popular series such as 30 Rock, CSI: Miami, Happyish, and Odd Mom Out. Her film credits include Allegiance, Hated, Delivering the Goods, and Steam. She has occasionally served as a guest panelist on the Fox News Channel’s late-night program Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.

Brand Endorsements and Advocacy

Shetty has been featured as a spokesperson for several brands, including being one of the faces of Cindy Crawford’s “Meaningful Beauty” skincare line. She is also associated with USA Network’s “Characters Unite” initiative, an award-winning public service campaign aimed at combating prejudice and discrimination through storytelling and advocacy.

In addition, Shetty served as a brand ambassador for Dove's moisturizer bar in India, helping to promote skincare awareness through the campaign.
