Shetty initially pursued pre-medical studies at James Madison University. However, her passion for music led her to participate in various music competitions, where she earned early recognition. This success inspired her to shift her academic focus to music, eventually graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Opera Performance. She also appeared in the Off-Broadway production Rafta Rafta.
Shetty earned widespread acclaim on television for her appearances in popular series such as 30 Rock, CSI: Miami, Happyish, and Odd Mom Out. Her film credits include Allegiance, Hated, Delivering the Goods, and Steam. She has occasionally served as a guest panelist on the Fox News Channel’s late-night program Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld.
