Rydel was born on August 9, 1993 in Littleton, Colorado. In her childhood years she learnt to play the keyboard, tambourine and double shaker as well as practicing her vocal abilities. Her and her elder brother Riker both enjoyed dancing in the childhood, and even competed side by side in the ballroom dance. We must acknowledge, that all the family members were musically gifted, so they decided to start their own band in 2009. Particularly, who knows carrier paths would they choose, if not Riker’s desire to become an actor.
At the age of eighteen, Riker expressed his desire to move to Los Angeles to pursue the acting carrier. Mark and Stormy Lynch, his mother and father, were greatly concerned what impact Riker’s absence would put on the whole family and decided to move as well. It ended up being even more beneficial to Mark, whose business flourished owing to the tremendous amounts of clients and fans of the band R5.
However, to gain some more popularity, each of the siblings tried to show up in different television series. Rydel, first appeared in the TV show “Sunday School Musical” in 2008 as Crossroads Choir Member. In 2009 she performed a Cheerleader in the “School Gyrls” and in 2011 she participated in the film “A Day as Holly’s Kids”. In 2012 she even appeared in the pilot episode of the “Bunheads’. Riker, the oldest out of all was starring in the Glee and in the 20th season of the TV reality show Dancing with the Stars. Rocky, who is younger than Rydel for a year made his debut in the film “NASA: Exploration Space – Explorers Wanted” .Rocky is special, because he self-taught himself how to play the guitar and taught his other siblings how to do it as well. Ross, who is younger then Rydel for two years, was a top star on the Disney Channel. He participated in the series of “Austin and Ally” and in the “Teen Beach Movie” on the very channel. Some of you might ask – what is about the youngest Lynch? Isn’t he a part of the band too? Ryland doesn’t seem to enjoy singing in front of the public, but he found the way to be helpful. He works as manager of a band’s schedule. As the youngest out of all, he enjoys to boss around his elder siblings! And finally, we are going to talk about the last band member, Ellington Ratliff. He is not a family member, but the best friend of Ross. After Ross investigated that Ellington can play drums, he was immediately invited to the band!
After three years of waiting, R5 signed the contract with Hollywood Records. In 2013 they released a four song tiny album, which was called “Loud”. In 2013 they finally released their 1st album “Louder” and at the same time she started dating her band mate Ratliff. Some people say they started doing it only for the promotion, but they are together for three years.
